The never-ending search for groundbreaking mills is a joy for the founder, Ghislaine Marshall. Born into the world of textiles, her great grandfather was the proprietor of a silk mill in Lyon, France, the world's silk capital of the day. Textiles, textures, colors and unique designs always attracted her and frequent trips to Italy as a teenager fostered a unique design sensibility which Ghislaine applies today to the Tessuti by Lazarine collections. Her Masters Degree in English (specializing in American Civilization) has paved the way to understanding the American way of life, taste and the color nuances of their " joie de vivre " colors.
